1. Who is responsible for your data
Alcodex Technologies Pvt Ltd (“Alcodex”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates MarketEntryIndia and is the data fiduciary for personal data processed through the platform. This policy is intended to be read consistently with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable Indian law.
2. Personal data we collect
We may collect your name, work email address, password hash, role, organisation, job title, telephone number if supplied, LinkedIn and website links, market interests, business requirements, professional experience, availability, correspondence, consent records, and account activity. We also collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser details, session identifiers, timestamps, and security logs.
3. How we collect personal data
We collect data directly from you when you create an account, submit a requirement, apply to the network, communicate with us, or consent to an introduction. We may also receive professional information from your organisation, an authorised referrer, public professional sources such as LinkedIn, and service providers that help us operate the platform.
4. Why we use personal data
We use personal data to operate and secure accounts; verify email addresses and professional profiles; assess market-access requirements; prepare relevant shortlists; obtain consent and facilitate introductions; provide support; maintain audit records; prevent fraud and misuse; comply with legal obligations; and improve the service. Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw that consent, although this will not affect processing already completed lawfully.
5. How we share personal data
We share data only as reasonably necessary with selected clients or network members after the relevant disclosure and consent steps; with hosting, email, security, and technical service providers acting under appropriate obligations; with professional advisers; and with regulators, courts, or law-enforcement authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
6. International processing
Our network operates across several countries. Personal data may therefore be accessed or processed outside India when this is necessary for an authorised introduction or by a service provider. The platform is intended for business users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly offer the service to children or knowingly process children’s personal data. If you believe a child has provided data to us, please contact us so that we can review and remove it where appropriate.
